Deepika Padukone, who has become one of the most sought after actresses’ after the success of films like Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani and Chennai Express is excited about her upcoming film Ramleela.
Deepika, who entered Bollywood with Shahrukh Khan’s superhit Om Shanti Om, made her entry as an A-list actress of B’town.
However, the actress witnessed failure with flops like Chadni Chowk To China, Karthik Calling Karthik, Lafangey Parindey, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and Aarakshan.
Later, Deepika enthralled one and all with her intense performance as Veronica in Cocktail. But, her real success surfaced when she was seen as Naina Talwar in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
Dips grabbed headlines with her on and off relationship with the Kapoor boy in the past. However, with this film both the ex-lovers confirmed that they will always be friends. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani rang the bell at the box office and Ranbir and Deepika received rave reviews for their performance in the film. It also became one of the top four grosser of the year and their chemistry worked wonders at the Box Office. Film makers are cashing on this hit jodi and the two have been roped in for Imitiaz Ali’s next.
Chennai Express opposite SRK got Deepika the biggest hit of her career as it became the biggest grosser till date. The film released soon after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and made 2013 a successful year for the dusky beauty. Her chemistry with the King Khan of the industry thrilled and entertained fans across the globe.
The actress is busy promoting her next big release Ram Leela along with her co-star Ranveeer Singh. Deepika is rumoured to date Ranveer and their alleged relation has grabbed headlines. The film has become one of the most anticipated films of the year. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is leaving no stone unturned to make the film hit the bull’s eye. If this film works for Deepika, she would score six successful films at a row.
Her on-screen chemistry with Ranbir and SRK has been appreciated by her fans. It will be the first time when the actress will be seen with Ranveer.
